The Porsche Boxster of the first generation was introduced at the end of 1996. It was the smallest and the cheapest car made by Porsche at the time. That is why now, the used Porsche 986 Boxster is very popular among motorists and is regularly seen on the nations’ roads. In the year 2000, the new version of the Boxster was introduced. It was called the Boxster S and it had a bigger and stronger engine. The car became more expensive than the first version but it was still quite popular. In the space of only a few years, the used Porsche 986 Boxster S was owned by about five percent of the American population. At that time, Porsche was one of the most popular cars in the world. The changes made in 2005 were so serious that the new model was called the Porsche 987 Boxster. It had an even stronger engine than the previous version. Surprisingly though, the used Porsche 987 was not so eagerly bought as the previous version. In its last two years, not many people decided to buy Porsche cars. The cause of this was the world’s crisis, which touched not only Porsche, but also many others automotive manufacturers.
